Featuring some of Hollywood’s most influential stars, Years of Living Dangerously reveals emotional and hard-hitting accounts of the effects of climate change from across the planet.

The plot of this documentary is dedicated to the tragic fate of Joseph Stalin's grandchildren.

The Irish musician Oisín (Tadgh Murphy) and his band come to Berlin for a few gigs. They are excited about the city and its legendary nightlife. As they unpack their things at the hostel, Oisín finds an envelope with money from his father in his pocket. Later, at their concert, everything seems to be going well - the boys are in a good mood, the audience is going along - when Oisín suddenly freaks out in the middle of the stage. The anger at his father for abandoning the family and the pain over his mother's death overwhelm him and he throws himself into Berlin's nightlife alone. When he meets the young, pretty Berliner Sabine (Aylin Tezel) and she shows him places far away from the party and tourist hotspots, he seems to find support with her.

This interview-based documentary is made on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Aydin Aghdashloo, Mohammad Ehsaei and Abbas Kiarostami, and deals with "aging" from the point of view of these three prominent friends and artists.

"The Cost of Living" was shot on location in Cromer on the Norfolk Coast in England: a typical, old-fashioned and faded seaside resort. The summer season has petered to an end and an air of desertion hangs over the town. Eddie and David are disillusioned street performers. Eddie is tough, confrontational and not afraid to defend his belief in justice and honesty. David is a dancer who has no legs; watching him makes you reconsider accepted notions of perfection. He is quietly determined not to let his disabilities or society's prejudices get in his way. A series of inter-linking scenes shows how Eddie and David negotiate life, fall in and out of relationships and survive day to day.
